Selected work

The ideas.
The craft behind them.

Three independent, founder-owned projects. What they do, who they help and the thinking behind each one.

FastOne Labs

A founder-owned exploration of how complex race strategy — tyres, pit windows and pace — can be made intuitive through interactive 3D and clear visual storytelling.

Who it helps
Race strategy and car engineering become something you can explore and understand, not just read about.

Video description

A real interactive 3D car is shown in the FastOne Labs interface. The Explore the car control separates its components; Reassemble the car brings the model back together. The film demonstrates the 3D engineering view, not live race timing or a race prediction.

McLaren MCL40 exterior model by Dave Love SketchFab · CC BY 4.0. Fitted and oriented for the viewer, with approximate surface inspection groups; original livery retained. This is an exterior representation, not official CAD or manufacturer assembly boundaries.

From idea to implementation

How it's built.

Built with

  • React & TypeScript
  • Three.js / React Three Fiber
  • Python / FastAPI
  • Historical race APIs
  1. Give the data a structure

Historical race, circuit and driver information is brought into a consistent API layer, with source labels and availability states.

  2. Build a world to explore

WebGL scenes turn the data and vehicle assets into interactive views, with orbit controls, camera framing and component inspection.

  3. Make the engineering tangible

Exploded views, reassembly and selected-part information make the machinery easier to understand through direct interaction.

  4. Connect and refine the experience

The interface brings the race workspace, engineering, driver and strategy areas together, using progressive loading and clear distinctions between recorded data and model estimates.

02 / Finance · Web AppBeta

SoloLedger

A founder-owned product designed around the needs of UK sole traders: simple record-keeping, clear overviews and an interface that keeps day-to-day finances unintimidating.

Who it helps
Sole traders can see income, expenses, customers and invoices in one calm place, without accounting jargon.
Product in focusWalkthrough

Shown with fictional business and customer records.

Video description

The film shows SoloLedger's overview with fictional income and expenses, its customer form, the transaction register and a draft invoice. Records are local to the browser in this beta; a draft invoice does not record income or collect payment.

From idea to implementation

How it's built.

Inside the design and development of SoloLedger.

Built with

  • JavaScript ES modules
  • HTML & CSS
  • Browser-local records
  • CSV / JSON / Print
  1. Start with the everyday workflow

The product focuses on a small routine for sole traders: record income and expenses, save customers, and prepare non-VAT invoices.

  2. Model records carefully

Money is stored as integer pence. Customer records, invoice snapshots and payment states are validated before a change is saved.

  3. Keep the tools connected

The overview, transaction register, customer directory and invoice tools share one local record model, so the same information stays consistent across views.

  4. Make ownership practical

Manual JSON backups, transaction CSV and browser print/PDF keep records portable. The beta makes its browser-storage limits clear rather than implying cloud sync or tax filing.

03 / AI · Desktop assistantResearch & development

ZavaX

A founder-owned research project. The long-term vision is an intelligent layer that sits across your desktop: understanding what is on screen, remembering what matters and helping you get things done through voice or text, always within permissions you control.

Development direction

See. Remember. Think. Show. Act.

The principles guiding ZavaX's research. These describe direction, not released features.

Areas of exploration

  • Voice & text interaction
  • Structured memory
  • Screen awareness
  • Permission-controlled actions
  • Intent-based workflows
  1. See

Exploring screen awareness, so the assistant can understand the context of what you are working on.

  2. Remember

Exploring persistent, structured memory that keeps useful context between sessions.

  3. Think

Exploring intent-based workflows that turn a request into clear, sensible steps.

  4. Show

Exploring clear visual responses that explain what the assistant found or plans to do.

  5. Act

Exploring computer actions that only happen with your permission, and stay under your control.
